Once again Bill's status is about the same so I asked his nurse to sum up the situation. He said that Bill continues to improve and I was thrilled to hear that from him.
Bill still has an infection but his fever is way down, actually he has be running a bit cold. They have been trying to keep him warm with hot blankets. Also he did eat a bit of applesauce and drink some water today. They are trying to come up with the right combination of medication for pain and getting him to totally wake up. I am hopeful that each day he will become more aware of his surroundings.
