Monday!

Billy had a great day today and was able to sit up for a total of three hours, not in a row, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. He worked with the physical therapy department from about 9am to 12pm, then again from 1pm to 3pm. He worked on deep knee bends from a standing position. These are a good exercise for anyone, but for someone that has limited movement in his legs, can prove more intense. The therapy really wore Billy out today, however, he is happy that the therapy is available to him. His wonderful nurse gave him a shave and he was very happy for the great job. He is working hard towards his expected release date of February 23, 2010.
